Deel–Arsenal Multi-Year Global Partnership

Deel, a global payroll and human resources platform, has entered into a multi-year global partnership with Arsenal Football Club, becoming the club’s Official HR Platform Partner. The agreement marks Deel’s first large-scale partnership in professional sport and reflects the company’s efforts to expand its brand presence beyond traditional business audiences.

As part of the deal, Deel’s branding will appear at Emirates Stadium and across Arsenal’s digital channels during all home matches in the Premier League, the Women’s Super League, the FA Cup and the League Cup. The partnership provides Deel with broad international exposure through matchday broadcasts and online engagement, while aligning the company with one of football’s most widely followed clubs.

Beyond sponsorship visibility, Arsenal will use Deel’s platform to manage key HR functions, including payroll, workforce data, compliance and employee administration. The club employs staff across multiple teams, departments and countries, and the agreement is intended to consolidate these processes into a single system rather than relying on multiple regional providers.

Deel’s co-founder and chief executive Alex Bouaziz described the partnership as an opportunity to work with an organisation operating at global scale, noting that Arsenal’s international reach aligns with Deel’s focus on supporting distributed workforces. From Deel’s perspective, the agreement serves as a reference case for how its platform can be deployed within complex, high-profile organisations.

Arsenal’s chief commercial officer Juliet Slot said the club selected Deel for its ability to support global operations and comply with diverse regulatory environments. She highlighted the importance of having a technology partner capable of matching Arsenal’s organisational scale as the club continues to expand its commercial and sporting activities.

Deel currently supports more than 37,000 businesses and approximately 1.5 million workers across over 150 countries. The company was valued at $17.3 billion in its most recent Series E funding round and positions its platform as an integrated solution covering payroll, HR, compliance, benefits and workforce management.

The partnership illustrates how professional sports organisations are increasingly adopting enterprise software platforms to manage internal operations more efficiently. For Arsenal, the agreement is intended to streamline HR processes across its global workforce, while for Deel it represents a move into a highly visible sector that could support further international brand recognition.

From a strategic standpoint, the collaboration reflects a broader trend of technology companies using high-profile sports partnerships to demonstrate credibility and scale. Arsenal gains access to a consolidated HR system designed for international operations, while Deel leverages the club’s global audience to reinforce its position as a provider of infrastructure for modern, distributed organisations.
