Accenture and OpenAI have announced a strategic collaboration that expands the use of generative and agentic AI across enterprise environments. The partnership focuses on integrating OpenAI technologies into Accenture’s consulting, operations, and delivery work, enabling the firm to apply these tools directly within large-scale business workflows.

A key component of the initiative involves Accenture’s plan to provide ChatGPT Enterprise to tens of thousands of its professionals. According to the announcement, these teams will also participate in OpenAI Certification programs, supporting broad internal upskilling and consistent use of AI tools across projects.
OpenAI will serve as one of Accenture’s primary partners for next-generation AI services. As part of the collaboration, the companies are launching a flagship AI client program that combines OpenAI’s enterprise products with Accenture’s industry expertise. This program will provide implementation playbooks, use cases, and deployment guidance for organizations adopting AI in functions such as customer service, supply chain, finance, HR, and operations.
Accenture also plans to use OpenAI’s AgentKit to help clients design and test custom AI agents intended to support workflow automation and specialized business tasks.
The announcement highlights an approach in which Accenture first applies OpenAI technologies internally. Insights from this experience are then incorporated into client engagements, providing practical guidance for enterprise AI adoption.
